Globalsurance partners win big at 2012 Health Insurance Awards

Last months' 2012 Health Insurance Awards held in Glasglow, England, saw many companies recognized for their efforts in the health insurance industry both in the United Kingdom and internationally. Many of the health insurance companies that received awards and honors at the event, which is widely considered as one of the leading industry events in the UK that showcases professionalism and excellence in the medical insurance industry, work with Globalsurance. Some of the winners included AXA PPP International, which won the best international PMI provider; and Cigna International, which won best group international PMI provider. "This award pays testament to the skills and passion of Cigna employees who work relentlessly to ensure our customers remain at the heart of everything we do," said John Kaye, director of sales and client management for Cigna Global Health Benefits, Europe. "The award also acknowledges Cigna's commitment to both the international and domestic health care markets, inspiring us to continue to improve and build our service proposition to meet our customers' health care needs worldwide." One of the biggest winners of the night though was Aviva UK Health, which won health insurance provider of the year, best group PMI provider, best use of marketing to intermediaries, best customer service and most innovative product for the company's International Solutions products. This was the third year in a row for the company to win the health insurance provider of the year award. "At a time when intermediaries are looking for ways to broaden their portfolio, and consumers are looking for pro-active, affordable solutions in healthcare and protection - we've been determined to find conduits that overcome those challenges faced by individuals or corporate clients seeking comprehensive International Private Medical Insurance," stated Adam Beckett, marketing director for Aviva UK Health.
