Risk & Reward Group Acquired by Arthur J. Gallagher

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJGC), an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm with headquarters in the city of Itasca, Illinois in the US has recently reported their acquisition of Risk & Reward Group (R&RG), an employee benefits consultant and insurance broker, based in the UK. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Offering a broad range of employee benefits insurance and consulting services since 1996, R&RG has been the purveyor of such specialised services to their clients in the UK and other international cities, with emphasis in benefit design and implementation, risk brokering and management, absence and claims management and human resource consulting for the financial management of human capital. Earlier in April of this year, AJGC announced the completion of their near-total acquisition of FirstCity Partnership Ltd., a Lloyd's registered broker, with the aim of penetrating the insurance coverage market for the financial services industry.
