Oman can offer you a high quality of health care in their private hospitals and facilities which are mostly limited to the major cities. There are no provisions for free medical attention for non-Omanis. All doctors’ fees, medication and hospitalization fees will have to be paid up front and can end up being very expensive. In rural areas in the Northwest regions, where access to medical treatment is hard to obtain, the clinics and medical facilities will typically only be able to provide immediate and basic emergency services and will not be able to provide any long term care.
